Websites Built by Ear

That's weird, right? Building an interactive visual medium with your ears?

What I mean is that my most important tools are my ears. Listening to my clients. Making a site with cutting edge technology or stunning beautiful graphics is awesome, but my main goal is to solve your problem. Not to fit you inside a pre-selected theme or a cookie-cutter template. I want to build something that's unique to you.

I work with small businesses, writers, podcasters, comedians—anyone who needs or wants a more personal approach to the web. Does that sound like you? Contact Me

As an author, I had a hard time keeping my site up-to-date on my own, but I also didn’t want to bug a web developer every single time I needed to add a new event or put up new book content. Todd came to the rescue! He built a site for me that made it so incredibly easy for me to go in and make big and small changes on the fly. It’s been such a life-saver. Not only does he solve any problem I might have, but he also offers new ideas for how to make everything work more efficiently. Thank you, Todd! I’ve truly never had a better experience working with any developer.

Maz Jobrani

Todd took my website and not only did he fix it, but he made it look better. He had solutions for a lot of issues that I was having with my old site, but he also brought new ideas to the table. He was a pleasure to work with.

Nelson Literary Agency, LLC

Problem: Our corporate website was years old. It was dated, didn’t integrate social media, and most of all, didn’t throw a spotlight on our authors and their books. We needed a beautiful, flexible, and technically extensible website with user friendly administrator tools.

Solution: Todd. Plain and simple. He could offer terrific design input AND had the tech creds to manipulate a WordPress site to our specs. He was a godsend! Todd focused on what we needed most and delivered. We were so pleased with his work that we hired him to revamp our eNewsletter next.

The Laugh Button

We’ve worked with Todd on various projects over the years, he’s literally the first person we call when we’re in need of an online build, some code written, or we’re having a security issue (hell, he even found a few of those when we weren’t even looking). When it was it was time for a full re-build of The Laugh Button website, Todd was the one and only person we trusted to do so. He was able to take our desired features, look, and aesthetic and distill into a site that is rock solid and provides a terrific experience for our readers. It’s probably why we still do business with him today.

I had a vague idea of how I wanted the site to look… slashes of color… a sense of welcome… easy to maneuver yet busy enough to engage a visitor… but I had almost no way of articulating that to Todd Jackson any better than I just wrote it here. And yet… Todd returned with exactly what I was hoping for. In fact, what he came back with was much better than that. A fantastic guy to work with. A big thinker who gets right to it the moment he has the info he needs to work with. Highly recommended for all.
